A Narrow Escape

You know… there is nothing as tempting as a locked door. It was on Wednesday, after school, the year 2209; I was riding home on my quadcraft and saw a building that had strangely never been there before. To build a building this size, it would take at least 12 hours and it hadn’t been there when I went to school in the morning. I can’t tell you the location of the building because no one must go through what I went through. I went to the door and found out that it was locked. Whoever put the building here must have something to hide. I could barely contain my excitement and decided immediately to explore and solve the mystery behind the building.  I thought about using the password retriever that my best friend Fredbot#254698 had given me yesterday. I tried to get the password but the door was locked with a firewall. _ _ _ _!

 I had to go home and get the firewall blaster upgraded. But the upgrade was 8965645456465742654654 GB! That would take about 3 hours, maybe even 4. I had to wait until the next day; it was getting late at night but I couldn’t go to sleep because I kept on thinking about the building.

I told my mom I was going to a friend’s house and that I would come back really late so she wouldn’t have to worry about where I was. I went to school but didn’t tell anyone about my new firewall blaster and what I was going to do with it. After school I sped to the building on my quadcraft. I had also downloaded the speeder1425 on to it. I reached the building and got the password. I can’t tell what that was either, for the same reason that I can’t tell you the location. I went inside and found an empty room. It was pretty boring so I decided to see if I could find a more amusing room. I went to all the floors and found nothing, but when I got to the top floor it was like an advanced room from another planet. Just when I got lost in this new world, the whole room started to shake! I ran for the door as if my butt was on fire, but it wasn’t there any more. Suddenly something hit me in the head and I became unconscious.

 I woke up in a bedroom. What? I didn’t get what had just happened. So I just got out of the bed and went outside. “AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!” This wasn’t my house! I was definitely somewhere else! I had some sort of black metallic bracelet on my wrist. It had some markings on it in bright red. Suddenly I heard footsteps, no ordinary footsteps, they sounded bigger, much bigger. I turned around just in time to see a distorted figure before being knocked unconscious again. What is with this place and unconsciousness?

 I woke up in a chamber with many other uhh… whatever they were. I soon found out that I was actually an intergalactic gladiator. _ _ _ _! I can’t be here, I didn’t tell my mom I would be back in a few weeks, I had said in the night! An announcer said on the speakers that I was to have a match with a guy named Poc578t0. He was a great fighter but was very slow, so I was able to beat him, but I barely survived. If it wasn’t for my firewall buster I would have never destroyed his system.

I had several other matches and each match made me stronger and faster. After my 13^th kill, I got fed up, this was getting too annoying and I hated seeing someone, no, actually, something, dying in my hands. Plus I was injured all over my body. I decided to get everyone, everything, to help in escaping from this place. They all finally agreed, but the problem was, the spaceships were being guarded by the guards. We came up with a plan to defeat them. We were gonna attack at uhh… in a while. When we attacked, the weaker ones amongst us created a diversion, and while the guards were distracted, the stronger ones beat ‘em up. I was one of the strong ones. We got into the escape pods and set the coordinates to our home planets.

When I got back to earth, the building wasn’t there anymore, and only 15 minutes had passed.  I went back to my house and my mom asked me why I was home so early. I replied that my friend was not at home.

 

 

 

 

Masechusetts vs. Saudi Arabia

There are many similarities and differences in the role that religion plays in the Massachusetts Bay Colony and Saudi Arabia. Some similarities are that in both the places, women have three main jobs to do, the first is to obey their husband, the second is to take care of the children, and the third is to run the household. Also, the parents decide who the child gets married to. The people in both the places put religion ahead of their personal lives.  Massachusetts Bay Colony, like Saudi Arabia, forbids witchcraft and wizardry because they fear that they might get spells casted on humans. In Saudi Arabia, however it is because magic and witchcraft are great sins and are strictly forbidden in Islam. If any Muslims are involved, they go to hell.

The differences between the two places are that in Saudi Arabia females have to wear some sort of overcoat called “Abaya” which is usually black and covers their entire body except for the hands and face. However there is no such law in the Massachusetts Bay Colony. Again in Saudi Arabia, men are allowed to have up to four wives, but in the Massachusetts Bay Colony they can only one wife. In Saudi Arabia, alcohol, drugs, and pig products are not allowed; all meat must also be prepared in a halal, lawful according to Islamic rules, way. The Massachusetts Bay Colony, on the other hand, has no such restrictions.

EID BREAK!!!

My Eid break this year was pretty fun, we had no school for more than 10 whole days, my cousins came over, and we had a party almost every single day, and the best part was,

I COULD SLEEP FOR AS LONG AS I WANTED!!! The pic above is me, my brother, and the cousins who came from Al-Khobar. We had a great time and it was their first time ever visiting Yanbu.

 

Oh no!! The moon is gonna crash into earth PANIC EVERYONE!!!!! No actually this is how close the moon got to the North Pole this winter. Can you imagine how high the tide would be? Any house within50 meters of the sea would flood.

“If you could meet any famous person who is alive today, who would you pick and why?”

If ever I get a chance, I would like to meet Zinedine Zidane (Zizou) because he is, right now, the world’s best field football player. He was a member of the French football team that won the 1998 FIFA world cup as well as the Euro 2000. He also received the Golden Ball after captaining the French team in the 2006 World Cup. I want to meet him because I think that he is one of the top footballers on my list. Football is also my favorite sport, so it would be nice to meet the best ranked player in the world.
